SHIPPING POLICY
Last updated: 1 July 2026
OVERVIEW
This Shipping Policy applies to purchases made through the Weathercraft Wines and Elemental Wines online store.
Weathercraft Wines and Elemental Wines are operated by Jones Ridge Pty Ltd ACN 614 116 004, trading as Weathercraft Wines and Elemental Wines.
Weathercraft Wines holds a Victorian liquor licence number 36151142.
All wine orders are subject to Australian liquor licensing laws and delivery requirements. You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase or receive wine from us.
DOMESTIC SHIPPING
We currently ship website orders within Australia only.
Domestic deliveries are usually sent by Australia Post and, in some cases, Aramex or another suitable carrier.
Wine may be delivered to:
- residential addresses;
- business addresses; and
- PO boxes, where accepted by the carrier.
Please ensure your delivery details are correct at checkout. We are not responsible for delays, failed deliveries or additional costs caused by incorrect or incomplete delivery information.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING ENQUIRIES
International shipping is not currently available as a standard checkout option on our website.
Customers outside Australia who wish to purchase wine for personal use or consumption may contact us directly at:
inter-sales@weathercraft.com.au
International orders, where available, are assessed individually and are subject to separate pricing, shipping quotes, customs requirements, import duties, taxes, local laws and legal restrictions.
We are not obliged to accept or fulfil any international order enquiry.
SHIPPING RATES
Shipping rates are calculated and displayed at checkout.
Our shipping rates may vary depending on:
- delivery location;
- number of bottles ordered;
- wine club status or member offer;
- carrier availability;
- promotional shipping offers; and
- changes to Shopify shipping configuration.
Shipping rates may change from time to time without notice.
Where free or discounted shipping is offered, it will apply only to eligible orders and delivery regions as stated at the time of purchase.
DELIVERY TIMEFRAMES
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Delivery times may vary depending on:
- destination;
- carrier service levels;
- regional or remote delivery routes;
- public holidays;
- weather conditions;
- heat events;
- carrier delays;
- incorrect delivery details;
- seasonal demand; and
- circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We are not liable for delays caused by carriers, weather events, public holidays or other matters outside our reasonable control.
ALCOHOL DELIVERY REQUIREMENTS
Wine must be delivered to a person aged 18 years or over.
Identification may be requested on delivery.
By placing an order, you confirm that:
- you are at least 18 years of age;
- you are legally permitted to purchase alcohol;
- you are not purchasing wine for a person under 18 years of age; and
- the person receiving the delivery will be at least 18 years of age.
If no person aged 18 years or over is available to receive the delivery, the carrier may leave a collection card, redirect the parcel to a Post Office or parcel collection point, or attempt redelivery depending on the carrier’s process.
In Victoria, where required by law or carrier process, first-time recipients of wine may be required to sign for delivery and provide evidence of age.
Liquor must not be delivered to or left with a person under 18 years of age.
Liquor must not be delivered and left at unoccupied premises on the same day the order is received.
SIGNATURE DELIVERY AND COLLECTION CARDS
During warmer months, we prefer wine not to be left unattended.
Our standard postal fee is intended to cover person-to-person or signature delivery where available.
If no one is available to receive the parcel, Australia Post will usually take the parcel to the nearest Post Office or collection point and leave a collection card in the mailbox. Carrier processes may vary depending on the address, delivery route and service used.
Please collect your parcel promptly once a collection card or tracking notification has been issued.
AUTHORITY TO LEAVE
Customers may provide delivery instructions or authority-to-leave instructions where available.
However, wine must not be delivered to or left with a person under 18 years of age, and delivery must comply with liquor licensing laws and carrier requirements.
Where a customer authorises wine to be left unattended, the customer accepts the risk of loss, theft, heat damage or other damage after delivery, to the extent permitted by law.
Weathercraft Wines, Elemental Wines, Australia Post, Aramex and any other carrier used are not responsible for wine left unattended where authority-to-leave instructions have been provided and lawfully followed.
We may decline to follow authority-to-leave instructions where doing so would breach liquor delivery requirements, carrier rules, weather-related handling concerns or our own delivery standards.
WARM WEATHER SHIPPING
Wine is sensitive to heat.
During warmer months or periods of extreme weather, we may delay dispatch to help protect the quality of your wine.
We may also avoid dispatching wine immediately before weekends, public holidays or known heat events where there is a risk that parcels may sit in a depot, van, Post Office or collection point for an extended period.
If dispatch is delayed due to heat or weather concerns, we will send your order when conditions are more suitable.
If you request authority-to-leave during warm weather, you accept the risk that wine may be exposed to heat, sunlight or unsuitable conditions after delivery.
LOST, DELAYED OR MISSING PARCELS
If your parcel appears lost, significantly delayed or incorrectly delivered, please contact us at:
Please include:
- your order number;
- your name and contact details;
- the delivery address;
- tracking information, if available; and
- a brief description of the issue.
We will investigate with the carrier where appropriate.
Please note that carrier tracking and delivery scans may not always update immediately.
UNCOLLECTED OR RETURNED PARCELS
If a parcel is returned to us because it was not collected, the delivery address was incorrect, delivery was refused, or no eligible person was available to receive it, we will contact you to discuss next steps.
Additional shipping charges may apply if the order needs to be resent.
Refunds for uncollected or returned parcels are handled under our separate Refund Policy.
WINE CLUB SHIPPING
Wine club shipping arrangements may differ from standard online store shipping.
Wine club shipping rates, inclusions, timing and delivery arrangements will be set out in the relevant wine club offer, release communication, membership information or checkout details.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, wine club shipments remain subject to this Shipping Policy, alcohol delivery requirements, age verification requirements and carrier processes.
REFUNDS, RETURNS AND DAMAGED GOODS
Refunds, returns, exchanges, damaged goods and wine quality issues are handled under our separate Refund Policy.
Please refer to our Refund Policy for information about faulty products, damaged deliveries, change of mind returns, refunds, exchanges and your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
